damp carpet...
is there any product that I can use to absorb the dampness in my carpet? it rained last weekend and was humid and rainy into the week, and the pass side carpet, front and rear is a little damp from where water got it...
I pulled the carpet back , and checked to see if it was the heatercore, but it didnt smell like antifreeze, nor did it when I ran the heater at full blast on the way to the supermarket and no steam coming from the vents or on the windshield with the defroster, so its not the heatercore...
I dunno if they sell some sort of pad or if I should put a box of baking soda under the seat or something

The carpet will be the least of your problems. The bad part will be the mildew smell trapped in the padding underneath. I would pull it all out, let it dry and then soak the padding with some foaming upholstry cleaner and let it dry out completely before re-installing

Ever heard of the old blot technique? Grab a good towel and blot that **** up. If you can, leave the windows down and put a fan in there overnight or something
I had to do this a while back, my dumbass brother washed his car without asking me to move or roll up my windows...

I'll try the blot techniqe and the fan... I can always pull the seat, peel the carpet back and run a fan on it for a while...
I was freaking cuz I thought it was my heater core, but the coolant has been the same level since I last checked it 2 weeks ago, so all is good
