well, as it seems, my cars awesomness has convinced my friend to do a 5.0 swap into his FB RX7.... he was torn on it, but i took him for a ride in my car, and as soon as i started it he was like. yeah, im doing the swap...

weve already found a ****tyh GT on Craigslist that we will just yank the drivetrain and sell it as a roller (body looks meh, but it runs good) and hopefully them 300 torques (/jeremy clarkson) will make the puny little 205s just melt away (he also just ordered a widebody, and will be running 300 somethings soon enough)

but yeah, i promise to show you guys what a real engine will do in a 2200 lb car (were gonna port the e7's for cost effectiveness, get an E303, and probably a cheapo GT40 intake)

nice, Im a bigger fan of the newer rx7's though, that body style is still ok though. Even though Im a die hard Mustang guy Ive always had a thing for TT Rx7's and Supra's :/

that things gonna haul. i'd just throw on some gt40's instead of portin the stockers. can't be that much more to get those then to get the stocks ported.
i almost had my friend talked into throwing my old 302 in his miata, but then he sold it and bought a wrx so no more swap :/

lol, hes on kind of a tight budget, granted hes rich, but still

we found a ****ty 89 GT that runs well for 1250, were just gonna take the engine, tranny, and rear end, and then sell the chassis as a roller if its any good, hopefully get a couple hundred back. But yeah, on the budget thing, if funds permit, we will go over options. but remember, it will have less than a 10-1 lb/hp ratio with a stocker. anymore than that is just overkill. I was thinking just the ported e7's, an E303, and an explorer intake or something, for A. Cost effectiveness, B. More power over stock, but not enough to kill himself. and C. theyre readily availible...
