Default noo..I knew I shouldn't have gotten rid of my fox

hey guys, today my hood flew up at about 65 and shattered my windshield and dented the crap out of my roof.. I think it was because of my fiberglass hood but I'm not sure. people ask why I hate fiberglass hoods, now I have my reason.
does anyone know of a good body shop between modesto, stockton or sacramento? also I don't know much about insurance companies and was curious if anyone knows if they wont cover it because I don't have the stock hood?
also has anyone heard of CTECH hoods?

Chances are if the hood flew up it was from improper latch installment. Was there no secondary latch on the car? that should have prevented the mishap as well.

I really don't know. I had it latched it has a regular latch and had the secondary. I always made sure it was all the way down because it was a pain to close. It is a fiberglass cowl hood.

I hope insurance covers this because it didn't just break the hood and shatter the windshield it dented in the roof and the frame of the windshield. can the roof even be fixed? I don't know much about auto body and what can and cant be done.

Hood pins are a must on an aftermarket hood IMO

can it be fixed without a bunch of bondo? there arent any creases its just dents. I'm not worried about aftermarket hoods anymore, I never want to own anything with an aftermarket hood again.
