actually the heads are the same unless his are the E6's but he can use everthing off your car except for the upper intake unless he does a little bit of mods to yours (just can't remember what)

Intakes different, I also think trucks have a different cam ? I believe the trucks are more for torque.

agreed the older trucks have a flat tappet cam and would probably make a few less hp.

its got E6 heads on it. we wanna slap the E7 heads on with the mustang lower intake. im also wondering if the harness to the mustang would work in the truck? its speed density and we wanna convert it to mass air.

oh ya i assume its a non roller motor?

has different firing order than my car

Converting to MASS air is A LOT different than doing a Mustang SD. They're bank firing EFI until 94/95 when they went MASS air so you have to get an entire fuel injection harness plus all the other goodies to convert it. The truck's upper will not bolt on to the mustang lower. Thet truck's lower actually looks more like a Trick Flow intake. I think it has bigger runners. The trucks made 185hp/300lbft so through a Mustang cam in there and it'll have 40 more horse there plus the E7s to boot, and it'll still have 300lbft of torque.

all 88' and later 5 liter truck engines are assembled with tall boss block castings(for roller lifters/cam) although they were factory fitted with flat tappet non roller cams through 91'
