100% stock motor mustang runs 12.91 in the quarter with hardly any mods.

....although he may not have a clutch or tranny left....he sure did dip into the 12's

i like the mm&ff magazine where they took the stock motor with nothing more then arp head studs and headgaskets into the 10's with a turbo, LCA's, and springs and shocks along with tires that was awesome

thats why i like watching factory stock races. some of those guys can get into the low 12's high 11's with basically stock cars

this month and last month are some of my favorite issues. there is an 11 sec hatch with relatively little mods. also in this issue the read on the saleen concept is pretty sick too.

i read that today.
He barley did much work and he got got it in the 12's. But it took him like 14 runs. It was interesting.

I don't get it anymore. It's hardly a 5.0 mag now a days. Pisses me off. Too much newer crap in there. Big disappointment.

i will agree, about 80% or more of the mag is all about 4.6's and other ridiculous crap most of will never have the pleasure to experience.

however i love a good fox story, most of their headline fox stories are pretty sick. did you read the on last month with the girl who had the engine bay smoothed out wires hidden, 100% stock motor but every single suspension peice was done? i bet that thing could nail a 12.90 right now without breakin a sweat.

i seriously bet after that 12.91 run that guy smoked his tranny. quote from the article"power shifted every gear feeling as if my life was on the line" i have no doubt there was a tranny rebuild/upgrade soon after.
