need more power

i have an 87 gt ttop hci tfs heads, f cam, rpm2 intake up graded fuel pump 24lb injectors and maf...i currently run 7.6 in the 8th w/ 3.73 and mt 26x10.5 drags radials but want more power is it better to build a motor n/a stroker, juice the motor right now??? but how much would be safe with a proper tune of course, or invest in a charger??? any comments will help thanks

100 shot for now, be conservitive with it and save some money to stroke it

nitrous is the cheapest route to go currently and if you save up and want to upgrade even more, you can still use nitrous on yoru stroker or FI.

next cheapest most likely stroker(lot more work though and downtime)

then FI would be the next cheapest but about as easy as the nitrous route




again nitrous is cheapest and easy HP increase.

how many miles are on your engine? if it has a lot then id go with the stroker kit to rebuild the bottom end if it doesnt id go with f/i. that or nitrous if your budget isnt very big

man thanks this helps alot..honestly i dont know how many miles the block has due to it being a donor after blowing my home made rebuilt one lol...live and learn.. but the motor doesnt burn oil and runs good for what it is. but lately it does seem as if the motor has got a bit lazy but it also may be that its time for a tune up

throw a 100 shot on it and build or buy a shortblock(fordstrokers.com) in the meantime
