bought a new TPS today, the car has had a rediculous idle ever since I got it back from the shop... told me they cleaned up the 02 sensors cuz they had the prochamber off to get the tranny out... and they then told me that the TPS was shot shot... not just outta adjustment..

lemme tell you, it was night and day.... I ran the car at idle for a few moments, was all over.... turned it off, put on the new sensor, cranked it back up.... perfect, she is idling ~800-900rpm....

I gotta find my multimeter to make sure its in range, what is it, .98?


looking at the old sensor, the plastic was all worn and chewed up... it was pretty beat...

but damn, she purrs now...

I hope it will too, just remember to replace that front pump seal on your AODE... I replaced the one on the trans in my '86 when I yanked the 3.8 outta it, if you have a seal puller it isnt too hard

I has no video camera.... my cell can record about 30 second-1 min videos, how do I get them on the internet? my cell has a micro scan disk card in it... I take it out and plug it into the adapter, and I can upload my pictures...

you can record it on your phone and either upload via mini sd card, usb type cable, or email it to yourself(my phone can do that i know) then upload to photobucket and post on here!
