-grab a multi-meter
-turn the car to the *on* position, not started
-place the positive on the green wire of the tps and negative wire to chassy or a grounded location
-and your multi-meter should read anywhere from .6 to 1.01 volts....preferably around .98 and .99

-if it does not loosen the two hold down screws and turn it back and fourth until you read your desired voltage.
-sometimes this wont work and you'll have to widen out the holes the screws go through to make more turning room, but most of the time not neccessary

good luck

TPS sensor is not adjustable, adjusting the TPS to .9xxx is a myth.

the location of it is critical...no? the clearance of hole to screw on mine is just about .01 to .02 of an inch

if its not, the computer will throw a code during koer testing. tps sensor out of range.

i hear what you're saying joel. just make sure it reads between .6 and 1.01 and you're fine.
