Default Going to the Track

I am going to the 1/8 mile strip tonight. I Haven't gone with the new supercharger. My previous best was an 8.42@85 NA. I am really hoping for a low 8 with a good trap speed, so we'll see. My Nitto Drags are pretty worn, so hopefully my 60ft. time won't be a disaster. I installed my new tranny and lightning MAF, so it's running real strong. I'll post times up tonight when I get back.

Thanks. I am hoping I won't blow my tranny, like I did with my last one. I've got to take a chance once in a while.

I took it to the dyno a few weeks back and ran into some trouble. First, the transmission began slipping real bad in second and third gear. You could see the wheels sliding on the dyno because the converter was unable to grab. Also, I was running a stock MAF, which I later found out was pegged. So the numbers were 265rwhp(I made more NA). Peak boost was 7psi. Since then I put in a stronger AODE(built w/4R70W internals) and a lightning MAF. Car runs great again.
