for 300 might as well get the intake. and as far as heads go its all on what you plan on doing. i was told the tfs, afr's, and canfields all perform just about the same out of the box. however the tfs respond better to porting and the afr's (used) to have cheaper components. i believe they've fixed this but i'm not sure.

afr actually has a new head coming out soon for the small block ford motors and they will be unveiling them at the upcoming sema show.


i have 2 sets of gt40 heads one of them came off a 95 cobra that i also have the pushrods ,1.7 rockers,heads and v. covers from the cobra.

yes if u had the carb legal version it should be no problem passing smog as also if all is running right..

Yeah those TWs have a CARB number, so itd help. Im not sure about any other alums though..

So the AFRs have a carb number too, so what do you guys think, TWs or AFRs, and what size? I was thinking AFR185
