Hey guys I was wondering what you would suggest for buying a code reader? I have a 94 gt but I want it to read codes from multiple car types (if possible). I tride doing some research, there's just so many! lol thanks for the help (in advance)

 

you don't need a code reader for a mustang per say...DIY KOER = GOOGLE IT.......AS FOR A STANDARD CODE reader for pre 96/obd II vehicles = none.....connector ends will vary from make to make..ie ford vs chevy vs toyota..........you won't find such for a cheap price...we have the Snap on Modis with all connector ends and software keys to do such for pre obd II vehicles and your talking alot of Benjamins

Get the code reader specifically for 80's to early 90's fords off of amazon.
I got mine for 50 bucks or so delivered next day when I specified ground shipping.
