Talking Need Help With Ideas.

Hello Everyone, I'm new to this site, But thanks for coming to my thread. Here's the deal, I just bought a 1994 Mustang GT 5.0-liter Convertible today. It's not in the best shape but I wanted a hobby for the next year and I love Mustang's. The problem is I don't know jack about car's, so here's my cry for help to you guy's. Over the next year I'm gonna need some guidence on what thing's I should buy to make this car faster, nicer, and over all just better. I have money to put in to it, I just need your help. So let your idea's flow and it will be much appreciated! Thank's so much once again.

pull , the motor now and rebuild it for power, budget is key cause without a figure we can reccommend anywhere from a 1000 dollar build to a 10000 dollar build......IMO I'd stroke it for max power

There are lots of Mustang magazines out there, including 5.0. Pick up a few to get some good ideas and see what works and what parts are on the market.

There are also after market catalogs you can get in the mail.

Post up some pics of the car and what you know is wrong w/ it. That would be a good place to start. Also, knowing where you are headed w/ the car is just as important. Have a plan, and follow it.

Welcome to the forums!

Default Knowing is half the battle!

As Pro50 said, having a plan is the best approach. Will this be your daily driver or will you trailer it to track events. By knowing how you will use it, you can set your performance goals...making it look good is something else. There are so many things you can do and without a plan, then you don't have any direction as you are buying/installing parts piece by piece. By having and sticking to a plan, in the end you'll end up with what you want. Getting some magazines is a good start. I agree, send some pics and let's see what she looks like.

I do plan on driving it daily, and will get some pictures up very soon. Thanks, I will be looking into some magazines. My first plan I would guess is to decide which would make it run faster? Supercharger or Twin Turbo?
