Default Help adjusting dial for adjustable breaks (pics)

car was converted over to four wheel disc by previous owner, so I have no idea how to adjust this dial. The dial reads "decrease" when you turn it one way and increase when turned the opposite way. The dial says Kelsey Hayes on it also.

Well, do you feel a need to fool w/ it? Wasn't it adjusted from the previous owner? If I'm not mistaken, decrease is taking braking power from the rear and increase, well, I think it speaks for itself.

THAT is an adjustable proportioning valve, just as pro50sc states is how it functions, you can do it by feel and you'll know when to much is to much because you'll feel the rear brakes grab harder

It breaks fine, but when Im going 60+ the breaks don't seem to grab right. So if I decrease the valve, thats taking the braking power from the rear to the front. This should help, thanks guys.
