i doubt its a flooding issue, more like you're not used to the different cam pattern. unless the problem is more than your description.
the whistle is normal for certain intakes, i've never seen it described with a trickflow, but nevertheless dont worry about it.

some throttle bodies and intakes have sharp edges/ rough casting and cause the airflow whistle...as far as it flooding, what makes you draw such a conclusion??

I found this link a few weeks ago. There is a whining noise in this video and was wondering if your 'vacuum leak' sounded like this. This noise is from his throttle body but i have heard intakes make a very similar noise to it.

yep that is the sound. and I think it is flooding beacuse somtimes it will quit and it is hard to start back you can also smell the fuel.

Well, by smelling fuel doesn't always mean your flooding. that whining noise can be a vacuum leak or like mjr previously stated, some have sharp edges and rough castings which can cause the noise.

while youre there, check to make sure the pressure reg isn't leaking while your checking it out if you smell fuel, and check the rails/injectors. see if theres gas just chillin anywhere!

you need to verify if it has spark or lack of fuel when it won't start back up immidiately, that could be a sign of a bad stator or tfi module and the test port on the fuel rail really should be put to use, I'd invest in a FP gauge so you can monitor FP when prob occurs, you need to isolate prob to a system
