Default Can i hope for 14's

83 GLX vert with a 86gt longblock. Just installed an 8.8 with 4.10 gears and im running 275 nitto 555r's in the back and just your basic 165r15 up front on summit sport wheels. Stock 3 speed auto tranny.

Yeah, you gotta do somethin w/ that sig size. It's too large. 500x250 allowable.

you're going to need a lot of luck! ...I had an 86 LX Coupe with a T-5 & 3.73's an ran a best of 15.1....Sold that car very quickly!

well look at that one magazine artical, where they got the stock engine (excpet for cai) into hte 12.91 with t5, 373, weight reduction, exauhst, some suspension, and tire!

Wasn't that car a 91-93 LX Coupe?? ...I'm sure that car had the tune max'd to run that kind of time, but remember, don't always believe what's printed in black & white...

Also, where talking about an '86 long block (=junk), with a AOD & ragtop....

Yeah, Can't you imagine MM&FFs doing an article on UPR suspention and the cars ET's go up instead of down. Never happen. magazines and car shows fudge the numbers sometimes. lol
