Hey guys, I bought the car without a headliner but it came with a brand new black headliner. The kind with the plastic backing excpet for where the sunroof is. What kind of adheasive do I need. And basically how the hell do I install this.

is the headliner material already glued on to the abs plastic board???..

the trim around the sides and on the windsheild hold it in they are held on buy screws. also the sunvisor mounts hold it up to as well as the dome light

if it's already glued to the backing board then you just have to remove molding, visors, and light then install it. if not then you will need spray adhesive. if you do have to glue it make sure the adhesive sits a bit before you lay down the fabric; let it (the spray adhesive) get tacky first or it will just soak into the fabric and not stick.

remove the old liner you will have some foam glue etc left over i just run a da sander over top blow it off with compressed air then take spray adhesive and coat the board lay the liner in place and smooth it out trim as necessary
