Last night I was speeding on Chicago's 94 inbound interstate when I noticed a cop spotted me and started out after me. I was all ready going 85mph and he was coming from a dead stop so i thought id punch it and get off at the next exit. well as i got some good distance from the cop and approached the next exit at like 135mph i noticed another white fox body in the right lane going the speed limit. i exited the highway and took side streets the rest of the way home. now i dont know if that cop caught up and ended up pulling that other fox body over but if he did and you are that other white fox body i do apologize, but i all ready have 2 tickets and cant get a suspended licsense because im trying to get a job at ohare driving that baggage truck around and will not qualify with a suspended liscense. hopefully nothing happened but if so, and you do have an account i apologize. hope you understand.

If the cops are hot on your tail and you are being chased on sidestreets. Then ya, PRO50 is right, you are an idiot.

If it was all clear and all that was required was a few seconds of throttle to make you out of his sight. I would have done the same. And have.

+1 thats stupid. realistically if you had have got caught, which the odds were against you, you got lucky. what do you think looks worse 85mph or 135mph... not to mention the danger something like that is to everyone else on the road

i've done it before. i can't knock you for that. You better be praying to somebody cuz you do it again and its lights out. towed car(if not gone for good), jail and a hefty fine. Sucks to be that other guy. just think you're cruising along and a cop pulls you over and points a gun at your head and throws you to the ground.

i was doing 90 in a 35 and got caught i saw em and hit the brakes, he got me for 70 in a 35. He told me to throw my keys on the ground and step out of the vehicle. but that was when i was 18 and still in highschool

 

running from the cops is never a good idea. i did time for it. in retrospect i realize i deserved jail i could have killed someone. i did almost get away though, had just put in different gears and a new lsd, wasnt used to it and the rear locked up on downshift and put me into a spin.
