yeah, tom jane was pretty badass...

but since I am very good friends with a comic book collector (bernie, you met him at CAD, Alex, if you remember.)

told me that the producers ditched the script that Jane had cuz it was "too dark/gritty" and they wanted him to play the punisher in this "dolled up hollywood" style punisher... jane left due to that disagreement...

makes no sense cuz the Punisher comics were always gritty and dark...

I mean, in Punisher Vs. Wolverine, he blows wolverines nads off with a shotgun, then runs him over with a steam roller....

it was one of the punisher graphic novels, dont remember if it was Warzone, War journal or one of the other series...

I read it a few years ago... was intensly violent, bloody and awesome

edit, my bad, it was a baseball bat and an uzi to the nads...

he shot him in the FACE with the shotgun IIRC

I saw the movie last night. I thought it was really good, especially after a long frustrating week. Really cool to see that 4 eye in it!
