Default Gears

Looking for recomendations for gear ratio for a 94 Cobra. I would like to go with 4.10 but I am being told that 3.73 would be better. I am looking for quickest time but I don't want 4.10's if that would be overkill! Thanks in advance!

3:73s are ideal for a 5-speed

Not sure on the 3.90's...Note sure what to use with 4.10's on a '94 as well...can't the 94/95 be flashed for the correct speedo readings?!

you already have 3.55's in your sig and if u do a lot of highway driving a switch to 3.73's is stupid as it will hardly do anything , if the car is a weekend/strip car 4.10 or 4.30's

I agree with the ^^^ post, not worth changing a 3.55 for a 3.73...Go at least 3.90 which I'm doing with my '03 Cobra come spring...

no the 94/95 cant be reflashed, i have 3.73 in my 5spd 94 and its perfect for what i do..im at the track maybe once or twice a year, and if i feel the need i can still drive it to school highway 100 mile round trip. for mine i bought the speedcal which at first didnt like but back when i had the auto it was the simplest option. it allows you to set it for 3.73 or 4.10s
