Wow yea jumpin from 2.73's to 3.73's is a monstrous difference. When I did that change i was like WTF? cruise in 4th at 25-30 and your not even lugging at all lol. But it feels like a totally different car, be ready to shift WAY more often but launch a hell of a lot harder from a stop.

 

woo wee, got me sweating already lol. actually got a little bonus from a job i just finished, so it looks like im going to have them installed after christmas.

My friend thats installing them has own like 19 mustangs and is a mechanic at the bmw place here in town. hes got a monster 04 or whatever mach 1, stroked to a 5.0 and all. Hes charging me 200 bucks for the installed and around town they want like 300. plus i trust him to do the job right the first time anyways

 

yea when you get them installed your reaction will be "holy shizz!" haha

ok so i really dont want to start a new thread but i need to trouble shoot a problem. the car seems to be running good, but when me and my buddy went out on the town hes stock(except 3" exhaust, king cobra clutch, and accel wires) was like right next to and sometimes pulled away alittle. im mean i think with the few mods i have i would be pulling away from him alittle more. im going to see if theres any codes being throwed in the morning. Were do yall think i should start?

lol more than likely, but he drives worst than me haha. idk im going to tinker with it and check some things out. might be a upgraded fuel system next, who knows .

i did take hes car out alittle bit ago and i have to say that thing runs, its strong all the way to 6k. sounds badas$ to. i would say it ok cause im getting the gears put in soon, but he ordered some 3.73s as well so well have to see. might take them to the track tomarrow, it suppose to be pretty cold tho.
