Engine is out!!!!
Ok.....I took on the brave task of taking my engine out. My trans was leaking at the front seal, plus I prolly need a rear main seal as well, and I figured the modding would be a lil easier with the motor out.
What to do now.....well thats a different story lol. I have several ideas floating around....from building a 306, dropping a 351w in there, to leaving everything as is, except for the gt40 cobra heads with some crane rockers that I can get my hands on pretty cheap, gt40 intake and e cam, or may go carb
BTW, for anyone that wants to do this, it really is not that hard. I was kind of intimidated by it, but it won't that bad once I dove into it....took me a couple hours 2 sundays and half a day yesterday. Oh yea, I pulled the motor and tranny out as one.
also, opened up the valve covers.....green roller rockers.....kool

who knows....I tried to look, but no brand name.....also one on the front...ummm passenger side, had been hitting something on top (valve covers?), as it had scrapes and such....
They prolly aren't going to stay, as I have those gt40's lined up to buy after the 1st of the year and santa's wrath is gone hahaha
Yea....I'ma have to do some closer inspection on this engine....see exactly what I got...stock intake tho FTL

haha....took me long enough to get it to that point, so I posed lol.....
I know you guys are only going by the pics, and they do look slightly blue in those pics.....but if ya'll could see them.....I mean they are truly christmas tree dark green....no mixing it up for blue at all
