Default Christmas present for my car?

So, its about christmas, I actually might have some cash to spend, and I haven't bought a new part for my car for a while. I figured I would pick up something small, Just something so I can get under the hood and do some work.

I was thinking about maybe an intake spacer, maybe a throttle body spacer...that kind of thing, small, simple...enough to warrent turning a wrench for reasons other than maintence. Its a stock engine.

So, any body have any ideas?

Car had BBK shorties on it when I bought it...so no need to spend that money...I know BBKs are not the best...but they are better than stock.

Maybe a tarus electric fan? but I've heard that puts some strain on the alt?

Well, as far as the rest of the exaust goes...I don't quite have that much cash. That is a little bit above my price range for this christmas.

electric fans a good upgrade, but you would want to to upgrade the alt to a 3g. PA Perormance makes agreat kit that uses the factory wires, i would recommend a s-blade fan form a taurus, you can find them on ebay for around like 75 bucks or cheaper.

So to do the electric fan swap youll need a 3g alt., fan of course, and i would also go ahead and run a 4gauge wire for the charging side of the alt to batt(with a big inline fuse)

under drive pulleys are a bit of a waste... thats just my opinion though. Do you have any kind of cold air intake?

last time i really wanted to work on my car, I changed out every vac line by the firewall and by the passenger strut tower. I know it not a mod, but it only costs a couple bucks.

buying a PA alternator kit is a waste of money
