Default lifting engine

im picking up my engine and my buddy is letting me use his engine hoist but the only time Ive used one was lifting a carb engine so it had the plate on the manifold and you just picked it up.this is a longblock 92 motor and wondering if there are hoist points or another way to lift it?thanks

if the eylets are not there, they make a plate that fits the efi lower intake, or you can get some eyehooks at lowes or home depot and screw several in the lower intake ant attach with chains( if done this way be carefull and dont let the chains slip)

i am sure they would be, i have some aluminum bolts that are tested for 30k psi tensile strength, and however many are on there, im sure it can lift a motor under a half ton
