im trying to figure out which rear speaker wire is positive and negative, both wires have stripes. I've searched and searched and havn't found ****.

 

If you have an old school test light, you can turn the radio on and ground your test light to a suitable ground and stick the probe into the wires and the light will light up when it's on the positive side. Most of the time, the wires are two colors, one is a copper/bronze color and the other leg is usually a silver color. I always wired mine up as the copper color of the two were positive side and silver color negative.

 

just twist the wires together and turn on the system. if the speaker sounds like its clicking or fuzzy you have them backwards.
