Default Vacuum Tree Help

How much access is there behind the firewall/cowl sheetmetal? I installed a strut tower brace a while back and since the vac tree is slightly in the way, only 1 bolt is holding it in **** eyed. Im wondering how much room I have to work with(just to fit my hand and a nut) behind the cowl piece for when I drill 2 new holes about an inch higher than the stock vacuum tree location. I would take the cowl molding off right now and check but I'm at work and daydreaming about the toys.

I could probably just use sheet metal screws without bolts. There is nothing behind that the drill may damage is there?

Thanks

There isn't anything to worry about if you use just some Reasonably lengthed
screws.
