I got the rest of the bugs worked out early this afternoon and got the timing set right. I let it sit there and run for a while and watched for leaks.

Then I got in and took off down the road! It felt great! I forgot how much I love driving this car. Now I'm looking for an excuse to go anywhere.

All I have left is to fix an exhaust leak, hide some wiring, and put on my new wires that have to be cut to fit.

I hear the road calling........

sweet man, i have had that experiance mulitlple times, its mostly cause of school and winter weather for me though. It got warm here in IL so i was able to drive my car the last couple of days and i love it!

It's been cold and rainy here a lot making it hard to get out and work on it much. I spent most of the summer trying to figure out what to do with it. I was going to go with a 351 but I didn't have the money to do a complete rebuild. I'll still be limited on how much I can get it out since it rains here a lot.

I only did the h/c/i on the stock 302. Such a huge difference from what was on it!

Sounds fun, wish I could drive it. But there is still salt on the roads, so she stays in the garage.

+1 i havent drove mine in a few weeks, drove to work tonight, and because its been cold out, the tranny isent slipping as much.....

felt like a beast at about 85% throttle, getting on the highway, sence i havent drove it + the tranny wasent slipping!

haha, i cant wait to get a 5speed in mine.
