Default upgrades for my 5.0 w/o turbo or supercharge

I have a 1988 LX 5.0 notchback automatic, and was wondering what is the best setup for maximum horse power with out turbo or supercharger yet. so far I have shorty headers, flowmaster exhaust, and an intake. I would like to do a cam, intake manifold, throttle body, fuel injectors if i go bigger injectors what else do i change? aluminum driveshaft, lifters and roller rockers, maybe heads? please let me know what you think open to all ideas thanks.

A stroker kit is a good way to increase hp. AFR and trickflow make good heads. If you change injectors you will need a mass air flow sensor to match them.

buy a 351 and start a build up of it on the side while your 302 still runs fine

A stroker kit includes new rods, pistons, and a crankshaft. It increases stroke which increase cubic inch.

Unless he's done a conversion, he's speed density and doesn't need a new MAF sensor.

H/C/I ( heads/cam/intake ) and you'd probably have what you are looking for in your car.
