whats up guys ... maybe a couple months ago i saw a link in a thread for you tube .. it was a step by step engine build .. i thought it was a 302 .. ive been looking around cant seem to find it .. anyone happen to know what im talking about have the link ???? thanks

lol, if you need a step by step video, you might want to double think about rebuilding a motor.

Buy a book on building the small block ford. If this is your first build you will find it a great deal of help. It will become your best friend. Look into HP books. Don't trust one guy on the internet. The books have information from as many as 20 differant builders in them. I built a 401 AMX back in 95 and bought one of their books on the AMC engines. I'm never to proud to pick up a book to learn something new.

QFT! But if you want to watch it purely to see how he is putting it together by all means it's good visual info, but if you're watching that on how to build an engine solely on that, probably not that best of all sources.

qft ? havent seen that one yet lol ...i was actually looking for it because i was just bored haha i been thinkin of building an engine for years ..
I've gotten as far as tearing off everything including heads ,lower intake, water pump,the whole distributer down to the bare short block ...and that was just with a haynes manual ..
But i have never gotten into the block , cam , timing chain , pistons or under the oil pan ..i know the basics from reading the books and on the internet just never really seen it done before ...
