Default Headlight adjustment

Just got my car. It got a new motor, tranny, suspension, rearend, etc. while i was in iraq. I got a new set of headlights on the car now also, but the need to be adjusted and aimed. Anybody have a how-to? Which bolts are for the adjustments? Thanks

i am not 100% sure on this, but i have to do this on my car. i have looked at the headlight assembly ('87) and i believe you have to remove the headlight, and the screws are on the back. You will see. i haven't done this yet because it sounds like a pain in the ***. reply if you do this and let me know how it goes, and i'll do the same.

the best way is have a headlight aimer to set the aim, it's cheap and easy or use your garage wall and set from a distance and set until beams converge....but I LIKE USING AN AIMER FOR accuracy

you'd have to take it to a shop to get it aimed if you don't have the aimer.......but the adjusters on each light are at the top of the light on the backside and stick out like two pegs and are on the right and left for vertical and horizontal adjustment and there is a special tool that slides on the tip as it is a very small socket size

I just did mine and there perfect and it was free, i took my old ones off and sat them next to my new ones, and i measured the adjustment screws on the stock ones and adjusted it to the measurement on the new ones, it worked 100%

There's one on the bottom too, and a 1/4 drive ratchet with the right size socket (either a 4 or a 4.5mm, I can't remember) works well for turning those adjusters. That's how I did mine.
