Default cutting springs pros/cons

ok so im thinkin about cuttin the springs on my car just wantin some input from you guys before i decide

yeah thats kinda what i figured id hear .... thanks pro im just tired of the 4x4 look and $$ for mods is kinda tight right now....

if money is tight and you want it down now cutting wasnt that bad in my experience. i did it on my 94 and was happy with the results and honestly, my friend has the eibach kit on his 95 and they rode about the same. now i have 4cyl on the front and its about as low as it was with them cut and rides a tiny bit better. back of mine is still the cut GT springs. i was the same way, money tight n really tired of it sitting so freakin high..so i cut them and was decently pleased with it

yeah i thought about cuttn them for now and changin them out when i get the money .... probly will be late summer before i can afford to get them ... idk yet

fronts i went about 1 1/8 of a coil..backs think i went like one...but it wasnt as low as i had hoped but didnt feel like pulling it all back apart..heres a pic of how the front sat with the stock cut that much.

looks good .... i seen that your running the same size rims as me did you have any rubbing issues when you cut them ... your car looks sweet btw

ive cut the springs on about 6 cars. just dont get greedy. cut a around a coil and you will get a nice little drop.
cut springs in the back


cut front and back


cut front with cut bbk lowering springs in the back

it should ride the same if you cold cut them, heating the spring will weakin the spring load
