Holy **** i scored big. Went over to the guys house, he has a 91 LX 4cyl convertible sitting outside in excellent condition with only a tiny tiny bit of surface rust, body straight as could be. Wants 1000$ for it, my mom might buy it.

Also, he has boxes and boxes full of parts that go with this. The guage cluster with white face, tons and tons of wires and cables that i would need, all the springs and suspesion, entire rear end and all shocks and springs and struts, a radiator in excellent condition, and the engine is CLEANN.

Put a deposit of 200$ on it tonight, gonna go pick it up tomorow. Might pick up the convertible, too.

The only thing he doesnt have is the transmission, he sold it the other day.

Ill get pics tomorow

It was some like 70 year old guy who wanted to do the swap so he bought everything he needed, and just never got around to it.

gt40 motor? change out for a performance cam and you'll be close to 300 to the wheels. 270-280 ish.

250 ish depending what you get. then you need springs(85) retainers(55) locks(18) and most likely new seals to go with the springs(20) so about another 180 dollars to do it right. 430 will get you everything for a xtreme energy cam and it'll really wake up that motor.

that'd be one hell of a street set up, gt40 heads, gt40 intake, performance cam. that'll put 300 to the ground.

cams are cheapo. And if you don't think so, go look at heads, then look at cams, that should do the trick lol.

oh i thought it was an explorer motor. guess it doesnt say.

you can look at the heads and ID them pretty easy. you should find out if it has gt40 heads. if it does thats a pretty sick deal you're getting.
