How much does an aluminum flywheel affect driveability? I would think there is more vibration felt from the motor.

THE ALUMINUM FLYWHEEL JUST LET THE MOTOR REV AND START QUICKER. DON'T NOTICE ANY DRIVE ABILITY ISSUES AT ALL.

I've driven an eagle talon with a light weight aluminum flywheel and performance clutch, and it shutters. So I wouldn't call it a myth, the shutter is annoying as hell. It's only does it as the clutch engages.
