i like how the odometer reads almost zero. lol. now just rebuild the motor and you'll know exactly how many miles are on it. if it still works. lol.

oh. and that demon is hilarious, but maybe the car is haunted.

That's the reason they didnt know it was a 5.0. The VIN pulls up the 2.3 and that's all they went by.
And that button is where the idiot who owned it put in an electric hood latch. He took the battery out and had it towed to the junkyard with the hood shut. So with no battery the electric hood latch doesnt work. At the junkyard my friend and I forced it open with a prybar right before the tow truck got there. The guys that worked there acted like I wasnt even there after I gave them my old title so they didnt notice.

yeah, the odo doesnt work. the speedometer doesnt work either so i use my little portable navigation thing to watch the speed.

Sounds like you just need a new speedo cable. Talk about a lucky find! That thing's in pretty good shape coming from a junkyard.
