Default wide band bung mounting question?

Ok so for mounting the Wideband bung, it says to mount it on the collector of the header, i was wondering if it will do the same job if mounted on the H-pipe right by the collector? (since this would be an easier piece to take off and weld)

one thing might cause problems if if you have any kind of leak on the flange to the h-pipe. as long as you are 100% sure its sealed then i wouldnt see any other problem.

put it in the header 3-5 inches from where all pipes join, that is of course if you have long tubes if not, mount it in the h-pipe close to factory o2's
