Question is it my intake?

back when my motor was carb'd it would still be pullin till you hit around 6500, but now that it's fuel injected it stops pullin as hard around 5000.If its my intake I'll come up with a way to get one but if ya'll think it something else I'm all ears

I wouldnt think so with that e-cam. Do you have the correct spings in those e7s for that cam

yea cause I mean it done just fine when that motor was in the 85 and carb'd but now it just doesn't feel like it pulls as hard past 5000

umm, the e is suppose to be good to 6k i think. my b-cam pulls hard to about 5600 or so. And that was with the stock intake, idk man if you lived alittle close i got two intakes in the back yard you could have.

stock, lol i picked up my gt-40 from my local junkyard from a explore for 100 bucks, thats lower and upper intake. it was a steal of course but it a great cheap improvement

yes. not like a damn that so much more, but with the intake and my 3.73s i picked up 4 tenth off my 8th mile e/t.went from a 9.7 to a 9.32.---yeha i know i need some suspensions work lol

not to sound like an idiot, but doesnt the ECM cut fuel when the motor is turning at that high of an RPM?
