Default Tiiiresss

I ordered 17 in wheels 9 inches wide...

For tires I was thinking 245/45 17

Anyone think that other sizes would be any better? like 225/45 or 245/60?
It's my DD but I'd like to take it to the track every once in a while.

Any suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks!

I just ordered 17x9 bullets for my '92 notch (from oewheels). Got them coming with 275/40's on the rear and 245/45's on the front. Go wider on the rear! IMO Don't forget pics

I wouldn't put a 245/45/17 on a 9 inch wheel. The tire is to narrow for the wheel. For that tire you need an 8 inch wheel. The tires can roll off the wheel in a tight corner. Ask me how I know this.

Not that I don't appreciate or respect your opinion and information, but I can recall atleast 4 'stangs around my premises that have 17x9's with 245's up front, and yet to have a problem. But thank you for the concern.

I had 245/45/17s on the front of my wifes 2003 Mustang and 315's on 10.5's out back. Was up in the mountians of NC carving the corners of Deals Gap. I rolled both front tires off and almost went over the side of the mountian. I bought a new set of 17X9 Shelby Razor wheels and promply install 275/40/17's all the way around just like I had on my 02.

Here is a Photo of her car with the Razors

I don't question or doubt you in the least! I'm just going off personal experience. Thanks
