Default quick question!

gt40 (explorer) heads and intakes, tfs1 cam, 150 shot... Is this a good setup?

I'm sticking to those heads and intakes and the nitrous... I'm pretty much just asking which cam i should run.

I don't care about sound/lopeyness, Just whatever will fit and give me the most power!

if you run the tfs cam which is an okay cam for an OTS make sure you run matching valve springs and hardware on the heads

Good setup.

You'll get a nice sound/lope with it. and a decent idle.

well if it's only an okay cam then what's a better cam? I know nothing

how do i know what hardware i need to install in the heads?

also, is it worth the money to have the gt-40 heads ported and polished?

Comp Cams NX264HR. Will work really well with the GT40 heads and Nitrous. I'd back that shot down to 100 if you still have the OEM pistons.

I believe in using custom cams, but you can get some decent ots cams, comp xe series cams are good, I had an xe282 in my stroker that worked good until I went custom, so we'll see how that works here in a few weeks
