Default CAI

I was think about getting a CAI. Should I get a Mac Fenderwell or a BBK fenderwell, or I was also thinking of making my own.

I went with the BBK, no complaints here, but don't expect a huge jump in performance or anything like that, you could tell that the car would breathe better and has a cool little whistle when you step on it but didn't gain much in the power department.

I know it will not do much. It will just sound better. I was planning on going with a mac but I found a BBK on craigslist cheap. I was just wanting to know what you guys thought about them.

the ebay one i bought is aluminum, silicone couplings, dry cone air filter, fender block off plate and it was 3" pipe so its plenty big enough for my 76mm MAF and 70mm TB

its not the width, it was the length that was the issue. I would go for that bbk if you can get a good price on it, if not id probably go for the ebay one. thats what i would have most likely done if the cai wasnt on the car when i bought it

it was long enough. i ment was maf housing was longer then the stock one (summit looks identicle pmas or pro-m forget which one), with the extra length 1/2" or more, it didnt fit quite right anymore. not trying to jack the thread, its fine know, just stating my experience with the product
