Wouldn't a set of trickflow or afr heads be better than gt40's?

It's going to be a slower build than normal for me... since i have the spare block just sitting in my garage an all.

And the fact i'm on a 18 year old budget! -_-

I can't wait to get the turbo though! ahhh so excited!

yea they would be better.

higher flowing head's and you could use less boost, which would be better for the turbo's life, and heat.

but the better the head, the better the power, doesent sound like a bad thing, but just go's with what we have been saying, your gonna max your block easyer.

GT40's are just a good CHEAP head.

lol they aren't worth my time if they aren't willing to not screw me over in price... what kind of work are they doing if they are going to try an jack the price up...

i got a quote today for 1,900.00 with just basic stuff, hot tank overbore and a few other things. Thats just BS!

I know i'm young and don't know a whole lot about engines an all, but damn i'm not that dumb.

i'd rather order one from woodsy and know i'm getting quality work and not some overpriced hackjob.

an me and my dad don't get along and i don't live with him so thats out... i just have to do it all myself.... i don't mind that though =D

Put together a nice H/C/I and find a used S-trim on the forums. youll max your block with that.

thats what i did, and when reality sets in, i bet thats what you end up doing too.

4900? are you looking at hp kit? there are alot of kits out there that will do the job.... but build the block first. thats the main thing...
