Default Block

Has anybody done any business with dss racing?

I was originally going to start building my old block that i have on my stand in the garage to a 331 stroker, and build it for a 76mm turbo...

However i started asking around at what it would cost to have my block machined here locally and everywhere i've asked has been around 700...

I know fordstorkers has a block for $650 i'm looking at too, i already know woodsy does good work and has really good customer service....

But at the same time i'm keeping my options open right now and am looking at all my options...

So if anybody has dealt with dss racing... good quality? good customer service? anything?

a stock block wont hold a turbo and a stroker. also do a search on the corral for dss. that will answer your questions about that.

i heard the stock block can handle up to about 500 horses(how long it last though im sure is another story)...but with a 347 stroker and turbo that size you would be pushin it and thats not a chance to take.. ive read numerous articles on dss racing block and they seem to hold up very well

Well, i know i want a turbo... like thats my goal. To have one of the few turbo foxes in my area... they are all either supercharged or just N/a... with a few exceptions.

What would you recommend for the build up? cause i know my bottom end won't support what i want... and i for sure want lower compression.

No, i thought about sonic blue... my car is a nissan color... color code b17 blue from nissan..
it looks teh sex in person... haven't really taken any new pictures yet. still waiting for nice weather.

whats your hp goal? the stock block will hold 500rwhp easy with the right tune. get yourself a good h/c/i setup and throw a turbo on it. keep the tune mild and youll be fine.

i know the feeling of having one of the few turbo mustangs. when i go to the track and pop my hood i also attracted a small crowd
