My Nova will have a 5X4.5 Ford Bolt pattern but these wheel have a Unilug design and the lugs come with two sets of washers to offset the long shank lug nuts. This was popular in the 60's with Cragar and Keystone wheels (along with many others) and I wasn't crazy about it then but I saw a lot of full on drag cars (Back then) right up into Prostock running unilug wheels. I never lost a wheel but I sure thought about it as I crusies the backroads at 100+. I fully intend to machine a new set of 1/4 thick Stainless steel washers for these, lol I have a stick of 1 inch Stainless Barstock just itching to turn into washers.

I have no idea what the stockers weighed. It had American Racing Mesh wheels and I just stacked them up. I did have a 5 lug 15 inch tri spoke mid 90's 6 cyl stang wheel on hand and it weighed 28.6 pounds.

At my age ANY brown that shows up is a good thing.lol

We were going to do it today but my friend had to drive to Atlanta last night. We are shooting for tommorow but I have my camera sitting on the wheel box. I'll take a picture in a split second, lol

Here you go Tim.

You could slice cheese thin enough to see through the clearance is so close. It has new brake pads so the caliper is out as far as it would go. A 1/16 steel shim wheel spacer or just a little smoothing of the caliper and horse shoe would clear just fine. I would think a hard corner may bring so scrape if bolted down as is. We torqued the wheel down to 80ft lbs and it was OK but with only about .005 to spare. I'll take the casting marks off the caliper ot gain another .010. It's going to work fine. Here's some photos.

Wish I would have had a tall skinny on so I could have lowerd it to the ground

While I was snapping photos here is a shot under hood. I built this engine 2 years ago. Makes about 310 at the wheels right now. It's geting a Vortech in the next month or so.

Yeah those are GT calipers. My wifes 03 GT has a Bullitt upgrade with 13 inch brakes. It won't clear hers and it's the same as the Cobra brakes. Only differance is the calipers a red with pony emblems vs Black with Cobra logos.

Do they make them in a 16"? ....or maybe some kind of wheel spacers!

...Those wheels are perfect for drag racing! ...that would be a lot of weight off the front for me!
