Default Motor Install

my motor is ready to be put in my car now... but i already torqued the heads to the block and i wanted to lift it from block with 2 bolts on opposing sides.... so with the heads on the block would it mess up my head gasket to take 1 one bolt on each side out to set it in car and then retorque them?

It has been done millions of times, lift it from the ends of the heads, not one of the head bolts/studs. It will be fine.

Buy one or make one, you can make one with 2 pieces of angle iron welded back to back.

most likely no but there are better ways to do it, stock engine had lift eyelets bolted to headers, if you hae those still use them

I put my engine in my turd this same procedure. Not proud of it, but didn't have correct intake bolts so I didn't want to take he chance of dropping the engine on the lift.
