Default Finished installing headers

I finished installing my bbk headers (full length), removed the ac, and removed the smog.

I dont know why everyone says its hard to fit full length headers in these cars. Mine slipped in right like a glove. I had too much room as a matter of fact. I can only guess that the people that complain dont use an engine hoist. It only took me about 2 hours of actual work to do the headers. Another 1-2 to take care of the ac and air. I used a piece of 16 gauge steel to make the egr block off plate incase anyone was wondering. To block off the hole in the back of the heads; I used a pipe cutter and cut off the ends that mate to the heads, and then filled the pipe in with a bolt and silicone. Vwala.

I also used bbk's matching H pipe, which I do have to say fits like trash. I did, however, mate it to the factory tail pipes; so that myth is busted too. Just incase anyone was thinking of doing that.

BBK Headers arnt to bad because it's not a tuned header. A tuned 1 3/4 header is a pain.

Try a set of MAC 1.750" longtubes. I'm your man if you think you can install them any quicker than I can.

Id say about 35-45 lbs for ac, dependant upon how creative you get. Most of that is in the compressor. Today Im going to cut the bracket so it doesnt look like something is missing.
