Bar's Leak's Radiator stop leak vote now
So i had a leak coming from my car somewhere, i believe its a leak in the thermostat housing gasket. Its a really small leak just dripps a tiny bit. I put that bar's leaks radiator stop leak in it. I just got done running it for 30min like it said. The drip slowed down a little and started to stop. Do you think this stuff will take car of this leak for a while?

i used some of this stuff called blue devil to fix a blown head gasket on my tempo and it worked so who knows just have to try and see i guess i wasn't expecting the blue devil to work but it did and saved me some $$$

I don't like to use it that much cause it coats a cooling system and in some cases can plug stuff up, had it do such on a few Bmw's that came in to us, a t-stat housing gasket is easy enough to replace, that I'd just fix the leak

While there isn't anything better than the real repair Bars stop leak is among the better stop leaks on the market. I don't think I would use it on something as simple as a Thermoostat gasket unless I was in the middle of nowhere without a 1/2 wrench and hammer and an eXlax box and a gallon of water. Back in the day when a radiator cost two weeks pay we used stop-leak, an egg or pepper. Bottom line in most cases it a temporary repair. Caddilac used a GM brand of Stop leak from the factory on the 4100 V8. It morphed into the stop leak that you see that comes in a round tablet about and inch round and 3/8 thick. That works really well. I think it's good for an emergency repair and not as a permanent fix. A one time use probably wont hurt anything but continued use off it will clog up radiators and heater cores.
