You are obviously a mero fan boy. You think that the mods you have on your LT1 will get you to 300hp? No. With a great driver a S197 GT can run bottom 13's on stock rubber. LT1 camaro's are lucky to break into 13's, with your mods, you could take 2/10's off that. Please go to the S/S section of our forum and explain to our members how your mild LT1 owns 3v's. Please start a thread. We actually have multiple LT1 owners and they will even set you straight.

Also your car does not weight 300lbs less then an S197 last I checked.

Your car weights a little more then 3300lbs and an S197 GT is 3480lbs.

im pretty sure one of the classifications of a muscle car is its affordability.

a corvette isnt exactly an affordable car for the average joe.

and to the camaro nutswinger...GTFO. who cares if you claim to run 3Vs all day?

Just wanted to say I'm glad we have a guy like Portmaster on the forum, now that's some quality posting.

Yes the LT1 would have been decent had they put a quality vehicle around it... as for you others, carry on.

Came here to say this. The price was always part of what made a muscle car...a muscle car. And why does it matter if a MODDED car can beat a stock newer one?
