Has anyone had any proven success doing a mild DIY port job on their E7s? And is there any change by removing the hump in the exhaust port for the smog equip.?

trust me man not to be a dick im just sayin if you want to put any money in those heads just ditch em and go to the junkyard and get gt40 heads the e7's arent worth it

Yes, there is performance gains to be had from a good P/P job on stock heads.

mid-low 12's on 1090 from thumper or low 13's high 12's from AFR nah not worth the money.

If can port them yourself and have the equipment, I'd go for it, otherwise like stated ^^^^, get some GT40 or better heads!
