Why Not Two Step?

Why Not Two Step?
Can anybody tell me why it wouldn't be a good idea not to get the MSD 6AL-2? Some older guys told one of my friends that it would be a waste since I have a manual and would have to feather the clutch any how...
I'm like wtf? I don't feather it when I launch now! It makes perfect sense to me. I would have consistent launch RPMs every time and could stage quicker. Not only that but the 6AL-2 is only like 50 more dollars than the 6AL and doesn't use pills.

they are great to have. i have a 2 step on my car and its one of the best mods ive done in a while. the first thing that should have thrown you off is they are "older guys". they also believe that efi is voodoo?

Mine was ordered this morning...
While I was pagin through Summit I seen that MSD also has a two step launch master for the Mod guys and laughed when it stated "it holds the RPMs until you're ready to release the clutch..." and about what those guys said.
He's just angry that his Dart with more money into it, similar CID, and steeper gears is still slower....on slicks!
