someone explain this to me
just so you know the car is runnin but what's wrong with it, you can't even figure out what's wrong with it so if you have nothing informal to say or no comments to help then stop freaking posting in my threads.I've never met you but I can see why a lot of people I know say they can't stand the national guard because if there all like you then there all DICKS!!!!
A lot more goes into a 5.0 - mod swap than I think you realize. Like said already, if you cant fix your 302 then i think a mod swap would be over your head. Brake systems different - vac boost to hydroboost just to point one out.
good god oh mighty my 302 is fixed good god same goes for you that I told adder no helpful comments don't post in my threads. I have a friend that has done 2 mod motor conversions to foxes with one of them being an 03 cobra motor and with a tune and pulley swap(that was all) made 467 at the wheels so I think I got that covered

sorry dude but that comment about the 302 kinda pissed me off cause I mean I've been playing around with motors and cars since I was around 12 or so and so far I have built 2 4 cyls. and helped with the bottom end of my 302(it was more or less my brother's project)so, sorry about that, and I knew the pushrods were vac but I didn't know that that was the name for the mod motors but my buddy should know how to do it and I'll probably have him pretty much standing over me when I'm building it lol
actually, the engine selection has nothing to do with the brakes..
ford went with the hydro boost system to try to free up some room in the engine bay because of how huge the 4.6l was. but you can still run a 4.6l engine with a vac boosted brake system
hydro boost doesnt require vac to run, so it would work well if you were using F/I and boosting while trying to brake (not that you would), or with a radical cam setup, the lack of vac wouldnt affect your brakes
however, if your belt lets go, or you spring a leak in your power steering... kiss your brakes goodbye... you would instantly go manual
