Default Header bolt locks?

So its not my Mustang, but bare with me please. This is the only section that actually gets educated responses. My Dodge V10 keeps backing out header bolts.. its really getting old so whats best - get some locking header bolts or is there a loctite that would do the job? Thanks\

Edit - theyre aftermarket Borla SS headers, and it LOOKS like they have Stage 8 locking bolts without the lock clips...

Except for one bolt, which has been replaced with an entirely different type of bolt altogether, like the other fell out and was lost...

Percys split lock header bolts. They have a bolt in the center that locks the threads to the thread walls. Make sure to put anti-seize on those babies but they wont be backing out

I have Stage 8 locking bolts on my 94 GT (and the red locktite) and those bolts haven't budged since. Before that they backed out all the time. You def. need the lock clips though.

You could always try some high temp loctite, if that doesn't fix it you may have to invest in a set of stage 8's. I recently did a set of headers on a GMC truck with a 5.3 for a customer and he got stage 8 bolts for it. The only problem I saw with them was that the locking retainer did not bump the header on all of the bolts and I felt if I tightened them more they would be too-tight, so some of the could still loosen slightly. They have a 12 point head on them if the had a 24 point head the would be real nice. The percy's locking bolt's are cut in the end and the idea is when the engine heats up the bolt will expand and it will not loosen but I don't know how well they work.
