Default thinking bout switchin to carb

ok so i have been thinking bout it for a long time time i can not get my car to run right what all is needed and what would be some good parts to get and also is there any benefits over efi

i was thinkin bout gettin this carb and intake set up would this work good with the f cam

That kit seems to be a bit much for a 302/306 mild engine. See if they offer the same kit with a 650cfm carb. It should work way better than the big ol 750. I think the kit will work great, just call them and ask if they offer it with a smaller cfm carburetor and you would be set.

I don't think I'd go with anything 700, or bigger.

have you looked at the holley 670 street avenger ?

tuned right to account for incoming air a 750 would work no problem, but in OP'S case an rpm intake and 650 dp should be fine with minimal tinkering

prepare the fuel system for carb = lower psi and ignition system for carb set up = distributor and ignition box, 85 duraspark box, dizzy and coil work well

best way is remove efi pump and put a piece of tubing in place of it for pick up, and I ran a holley blue with a regulator set to 5-6 psi and I RAN new 3/8's braided line all th way to the front, but I intended to race mine so I went with more expensive stuff, in your case the holley red pump using the existing feed line should be adequate with a few mods to it under the hood.
